TIGER CUBS-OVERALL THOUGHTS

haha..i kno i said i would be saving this for later because i don't have much time..but im afraid i'll forget..so i'll just post my thoughts now..overall, the drama was awesome....action-packed, hot guys, and the format was just great...it felt so refreshing..both the theme of the drama and the format..also, it was smart of TVB to mix in veterans, Joe Ma and Jessica Hsuan, with the popular supporting artistes, Mandy Wong, Oscar Leung, Him Law, and Vincent Wong, as well as the not so well-known artistes including William Chak, Benjamin Yuen..etc..this drama is tied as my favorite drama of the year with THE HIPPOCRATIC CRUSH..just a side note, both have Benjamin Yuen, Mandy Wong, and Him Law..ok...back on track..I love all the action and how the cases aren't just random..like they're somehow related to the team..for example Him Law's dad was kidnapped..or Mandy's friend, Jazz Lam, is involved in another case..Also, TVB somehow found a way to tie Joe Ma's team and Jessica's team together..Everything from the actors and actresses to the quality of the drama was fantastic..improvements could be made to the acting of certain artistes but I have to say, I was impressed with this drama...

SITTING FOR 20 YEARS?

Viewers have discovered another mistake in TVB series, this time it happens on Tiger Cubs. In the recent episode, there was a scene where Jessica Hsuan and her brother Oscar Leung were sitting on the benches at the sports ground recalling their childhood memories of jogging together and vowing to be police officers when they grow up. Netizens discovered there were two Extras sitting on the benches in the background during that scene, but unexpectedly, those two Extras sat on those benches for over 20 years! The same two Extras were sitting in the background in the same spot in the flashback scene! Very strange! 

Netizens screen captured the two scenes and posted it on social networking sites, and it has become a new hot topic. Netizens teased that Tiger Cubs is actually a horror movie, where the two Extras are the 'ghosts' in the series.

haha...lol..the 'horror movie' part isn't funny..but i just thought it was interesting how they were wearing the exact same clothes at the exact same place 20 years later..lol..tvb was careless..

TIGER CUBS-ELENA KONG'S CASE

i thought this was a pretty good case..haha..for one, i learned that Him Law was a rich guy..haha..so more character development..and it makes the drama more interesting b/c it's not just on cases about people they'r not related to..like this case, it was actually tied to Him Law..so ya..haha..it was pretty interesting how the dad always favored guys over girls..i liked Elena's character b/c she was smart and all...and she actually meant to help out with the family business and didnt want anything in return..one thing i didnt like though was how she picked her boyfriend over her father..well like..i wouldnt be sure who i would pick if i was in her shoes, but ya..like even if you do choose your boyfriend over your dad, it doesnt mean you hafta kidnap your dad..anyways..i didn't completely trust her boyfriend..but at the same time, the case is closed..and her boyfriend didn't show a bad side..so does that mean he's a good guy? haha..im still more reserved about that..but anyways..some memorable scenes: Him Law jumping on the car..lol..that was like WOW..haha..and umm..Elena Kong taking the bullet for her dad...and also the part where Elena was about to go in the car..and then her parents & her brother came and like ya..lol..i 4got wut they did..or if they even did anything..but i remember liking that scene..lol..haha..also liked how the 'bad guys' found out about Him Law's presence because his sweat was dripping..lol..i was like 'that's a new one'..haha..and then after they fired the shot at the ceiling, i was like 'noooooo...' haha..also, i thought it was pretty new yet stupid of the SDU for the cockroach part..haha..like they found out that there was sumthing wrong b/c of a cockroach..haha..it's kinda stupid how they failed in the hands of a cockroach..well, they didn't really fail..haha..but at the same time, it was pretty funny, creative, and new..so i c it as a good thing..lol..

TIGER CUBS-KENNY WONG'S CASE

this one is one of my favorites so far...maybe it's because Kenny Wong wasn't really considered a 'bad guy'..after all, he was only doing it to help his son..i like how he was once in the military, meaning he's trained..so i liked the part where when he died, the whole SDU went to Joe Ma's bar and they were all like  feeling sad because such a good father and a talented man [probably in like kung fu or sumthing] died..it was sad...he didn't want to harm the innocent..he wouldn't have thought about killing Mandy if he didn't know she was a cop..also, i was kinda confused..but was Vincent Wong the one who pulled the trigger and fired the shot @ Kenny Wong? i couldn't really c..b/c of all those masks..i just thought it was b/c he was the one who visited Kenny's son after..so nice of him :) haha..but honestly, i know this is obvious but i'm still gunna say it :P..he shouldn't have went down that path...he has skills..he was trained..he shud have used them in a different way...his death isn't just his own thing..it affects his wife & his son 2..now who's gunna pay for the medical bills? who's gunna put food on the table..lol..anyways..if there was a complete ending [something that always seems to be missing in TIGER CUBS] it would probably be a.) the wife dies and the son heals and is sent to an orphanage b.) the son dies and the wife dies later..c.) the wife looks for a job and the members of the SDU help out with the medical bills and help them find social workers..lol..i'd b most satisfied with c..so im gunna pretend that happened..lol..

TIGER CUBS-KENNETH MA'S CASE

umm..not one of my favorites..but it was a pretty interesting case i guess..well..idk..i just thought Kenneth was a bad person..lol..im just stating the obvious..anyways..the throat cutting and stuff was kinda..not my type..but it didnt really bother me or anything..just that i would prefer other cases over this one..i heard Kenneth is gunna come back in the last episode..ya..figures..since the ending of the first episode wasn't really complete...i think JJ Jia is gunna help him escape? o yea..btw, i really didn't think JJ Jia needed that wig..she looked so pretty without the wig..and then the stupid wig..lol..it was ugly..but most of all, scary..but then again, i guess it helps with making them look more 'terrorist-y'

TIGER CUBS-EP.3-6 THOUGHTS

haha..pretty much the same thoughts as last time..still love Oscar's character..haha..i like how TIGER CUBS has like serious action scenes but at the same time, they incorporate some love scenes as well as some comedic scenes..haha..umm..im not sure if it's just me..but i c Jessica's character opening up more..haha..glad 2 c that tho..i love how they introduce less known artistes like William Chak, Oscar Li..etc..also, i started liking the cases more starting from ep. 2...i'll talk more about that later..anyways..i really do NOT like Christine Kuo's character..lol..im sorry..but i just..no..i can't..lol..like in the beginning, i found her somewhat annoying..but i told myself to be nice..and just let it go..but now, no..lol..ok for one, her accent bugs me..two, she can't really act..like that crying scene, it wasn't very convincing..and her character..omg..like y did she stay @ Oscar's house?! and then all of Oscar's colleagues/brothers/friends misunderstood..and ya..lol..ok..im done ranting..for now-..haha..Mandy's always playing these tomboyish characters..haha..like in this drama..and in SERGEANT TABLOID..haha..also, i like seeing Vincent Wong's character..haha..he used 2 b so 'not confident' but now he's more self-confident..haha..like that scene in episode 6 where they ran into Eric Li's gang...haha..also like Him Law's character..i like how he & Vincent Wong have such a close friendship..also like how he's rich but not spoiled..he earns his own money and stuff..haha..one last thing: gotta love Oscar w/ his gun..lol..and his wink ;)

TIGER CUBS-EP. 1&2 THOUGHTS

haha..awesome series..well not to everyone though..but i really like action scenes and stuff...haha..find them pretty cool..but i also like stuff like romantic stuff..and like family stuff..and idk..lol..sad movies/dramas..lol..anyways..i like the high tech stuff..and personally, i think they're pretty smart..like how in the first episode, the 'bad guy' acted as if he were the hostage..they go through some tough training..i like seeing Vincent Wong's character..he's like so 'good boy' lol...and then Him Law's character is all 'im too good 4 u' haha..but they balance out..lol..i still like Him Law's character though..lol..as for Vincent's character, i like him, but sumtimes, he's too scared to make a move..like when Joe Ma tells him to shoot, he hesitates..i like Oscar too..he's like well-rounded compared to Him Law & Vincent Wong..he's like a mix of the 2...he's like competitive in episode 2..Him Law & Oscar were climbing a tree to get something..and then Him slipped..and Oscar tried to catch him..but in the end, the both fell down and stuff..but Oscar was like more injured...i think i like his character the best..and as for Jessica Hsuan, i think we'll see more of her later..im not sure wut 2 say about her..i guess she should let go of the past? but at the same time, there may be something more behind it, so i don't really wunna decide yet..lol..cuz it's only episode 2..umm..Mandy...idk wut 2 say..havent seen much of her yet either..as for Christine Kuo, omg..dont..lol..just dont..omg..haha..who buys 20 boxes of mangoes? haha..it's just TV tho..not like it's real..no offense..but her accent kinda bugs me..ik it's not her fault tho..haha..i really like this series..i wish it would air more often..like as in not every once a week..many people have said that too..also, i like how they go 2 a 'deserted' island 2 go train & stuff..pretty fun actually..i wunna do that..lol..but i wudnt survive..after 2 mins, i'd be like 'im tired..im hungry...are we there yet? im thirsty..how long is it gunna take? has it been an hour yet?' lol..ya.. 4 those of u who havent started, u guys should..it's nice..cool movie format thing 2.. :)
